Like previous projects for ACE Hardware that we have done, this new Ace Hardware facility in Williamston, SC really stood out with our team delivered a mechanical and life safety solution that blends high-performance functionality with modern retail aesthetics. The HVAC installation features a combination of high-efficiency split and mini-split heat pumps, supported by a mix of concealed ductwork for the offices and architecturally exposed spiral ductwork throughout the main sales floor. To ensure comprehensive site safety, we engineered a dual-system fire protection strategy, utilizing a standard wet pipe sprinkler system for the 17,250 SF interior and a specialized dry pipe system to protect the 3,750 SF outdoor canopy and storage areas.
