HVAC INSTALL MECHANIC
We are seeking a knowledgeable and seasoned professional with a customer-first attitude, able to address project needs. The ideal candidate is a true team player who collaborates seamlessly with Project Managers, Leadership, and Foremen to ensure smooth project completion. Managing time and resources effectively to meet deadlines and keep projects on track is imperative.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The duties and responsibilities for the ideal HVAC Install Mechanic include, but are not limited to:

- Setting equipment, running refrigerant lines, drain lines, and high and low voltage electrical
- Brazing, soft solder, pulling vacuum, and reclaiming
- Install AHUs, RTUs, VAVs, Boilers, Chillers, and Fan Coil Units
- Communicate regularly with Project Managers and Leadership on job status, providing regular reports of completion or roadblocks

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum 4 years’ experience in HVAC Installation
- Universal EPA and OSHA 10 Certified
- Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record to travel to multiple job sites
- Must own all hand tools for HVAC install. Torches, pumps, and recovery provided by Thomas Mechanical
- Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal team members
- Demonstrate a team-first attitude and eager to take on new challenges
- Ability to quickly address and resolve issues as they arise during a project
- Work efficiently in a team environment

- We serve the entire Upstate of South Carolina and occasionally neighboring states. This role requires travel to job sites as needed, with no daily reporting to the main office in Laurens, SC
