Foreman, HVAC Sheet Metal

Thomas Mechanical completes Design Build and Plan and Spec projects including HVAC Commercial/Industrial Air Conditioning, Residential Air Conditioning, Process Piping for natural gas and compressed air, Fire Sprinkler Systems, and Service and Maintenance of HVAC equipment. We are seeking a knowledgeable and seasoned Foreman for our Sheet Metal division.

The ideal candidate has a customer-first attitude, able to address project needs. We are looking for a true team player who collaborates seamlessly with Project Managers, Leadership, and can manage a crew to ensure smooth project completion.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The duties and responsibilities of the HVAC Sheet Metal Foreman includes, but are not limited to:

- - - Leadership and management over groups of 3-10 workers
    - Installation of ductwork and HVAC equipment in commercial and industrial settings
    - Familiarity with various duct connections – snap lock, TDC, ductmate, slip & drive, etc.
    - Familiarity with duct takeoff and submittal management

REQUIREMENTS:

- - - Ability to read and work off of drawings
    - Ability to draw custom duct fittings
    - Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
    - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
    - Personal PPE
    - Drug testing
    - 6+ year of experience
    - Demonstrated ability to communicate with a variety of personalities

PREFERRED:

- - - Lift certifications
    - PPE training
    - Ability to do onsite modification and fabrication when needed

SCHEDULE:

- - - 4 – 10 hour shifts (Monday-Thursday 7:00 am – 5:30 pm)
    - Overtime on Fridays and weekends as needed

WORK LOCATION:

- - - We serve the entire Upstate of South Carolina and occasionally neighboring states. This role requires travel to job sites as needed, with the occasional need to report to our main offices in Laurens, SC

SALARY:

- - - Starting at $28 per hour based upon experience
